What makes Adaptive Sexuality Education Across the Lifespan™ distinct is its adaptability. Rather than following a fixed sequence or relying on diagnosis, instruction is adjusted to the individual’s learning profile, communication style, support needs, and lived experience.
Content, pacing, language, visuals, teaching strategies, and environmental supports can all be modified, allowing the curriculum to remain relevant across childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and aging. This individualized approach supports practical, accessible education focused on safety, autonomy, and informed decision making.
Family Caregiver Training is a service available through some Medicaid Waiver programs that may cover the cost of this training. Eligibility and coverage vary by state, so please check with your state’s Medicaid Waiver program for specific requirements.
Marissa Pangle, MA, CSE
Unapologetically Autistic · Nationally Certified Sexuality Educator (AASECT)
AASECT certification represents the highest national standard in sexuality education, requiring extensive training in ethics, consent, inclusivity, trauma-informed practice, and medically accurate education across the lifespan.
Marissa is an unapologetically autistic educator whose professional and personal experiences inform a deeply ethical, disability-centered approach to sexuality education. Her work challenges exclusionary systems that have historically denied disabled people access to accurate information about bodies, relationships, pleasure, consent, and autonomy.
With over a decade of experience working as a Medicaid Waiver Behavior Clinician, Marissa understands both the structural barriers individuals face and the real-world consequences of withholding education. She bridges national-level sexuality education standards with lived experience to deliver accessible, comprehensive education rooted in dignity, equity, and self-determination.
